Types of Wagers & Minimums
For Win, Place, Show, Exacta, Trifecta, Daily Double, Pick 3, and Pick 4 wagers, the minimum is $1.00. For Superfecta wagers, the minimum is $0.20.
Win: Your selection must finish first. Place: Your selection must finish first or second. Show: Your selection must finish first, second or third. Exacta: Your selections must finish first and second. Trifecta: Your selections must finish first, second, and third. Superfecta: Your selections must finish first, second, third and fourth. Daily Double: Your selections must finish first in two consecutive races. Pick 3: Your selections must finish first in three consecutive races. Pick 4: Your selections must finish first in four consecutive races. Pick 5: Your selections must finish first in five consecutive races.

Box and Wheel Options
The $1, $0.50, and $0.20 options allow you to play more combinations in each race, but keep in mind that you are no longer receiving the full $2.00 payoff if you win.
When you box horses in an Exacta, Trifecta, Superfecta, they need not finish in exact order for you to win. For example, a Trifecta box on horse numbers 1-5-8 would be a winner even if the official result was 8-5-1. (A $1 Trifecta box is $6, because there are 6 possible combinations: 1-5-8, 1-8-5, 5-1-8, 8-1-5, and 8-5-1. Therefore, a $1.00 Trifecta box with 3 horses is $6)
When you key horses in a Daily Double, Exacta, Trifecta, Superfecta, Pick 3, or Pick 4 they must finish in the position you've selected. For example, if you key horse number 8 on top in a Trifecta, with numbers 1-2-5 in second and 3-4-6 in third, horse 8 must win; horse 1, 2, or 5 must finish second; and horse 3, 4, or 6 must finish third. That wager as a $1 Trifecta Key would cost $9: one horse (8) in first, times three horses (1-2-5) in second, times three horses (3-4-6) in third equals nine separate combinations.
The Pick 3 works in a similar fashion. For example, if you like horse number 7 in the first leg, horses 1-6-9 in the second leg and "all" eight horses in the third leg, a $1 wheel (7 with 1-6-9 wit hall) would cost $24 (one time three times eight)
Carryover Pools
Pick 3 carryover- If no one selects 3 of 3, then 100% of the pool is carried over to the next Pick 3 wager. Pick 4 carryover- If no one selects 4 of 4, then 100% of the pool is carried over to the next Pick 4 wager.
The morning line odds in the program reflect the track handicapper's assessment as to what the odds may be at post time. The selections at the bottom of each program page are not necessarily the three probable favorites.
