ASHLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) - A multi-million dollar horse race track is on the way in Boyd County, Kentucky.
By 2026, Sandy Ridge in Ashland, Kentucky will be home to a $10 million oval horse racetrack
It is being built just behind Sandy’s Racing and Gaming, a more than $70 million entertainment building that opened last year.
Revolutionary Racing, the company behind the project says when finished, this track will be the only racetrack in Kentucky dedicated solely to quarter horse racing.
